Frame
Booster is a tool for distributed network rendering. After
setting basic job parameter a list of jobs is created with
a single button click. These jobs are automatically distributed
to all slaves in the network. The server will check, if the
required renderer version is installed, enough RAM is available,
how many CPU´s should be used and so on. In addition images
can be split into regions to increase the performance when
rendering very large frames and reduce memory usage. Using
the server schedule you can define 3 time zones for rendering.
The remaining time the server will wait in sleep mode. If
audio control is required, you can choose between PC speaker
sound and speech wave files. A message system will give you
remote control over particular slaves and serve as a communication
system between users. The render task priority can be adjusted
interactively using the Frame Booster UI.
