During Maya 4.5 beta test we were already experimenting with Maya' s new fluids. This cloud flythru was primarily done to check the render quality when penetrating clouds with the camera and to see how fluids react to volume lights. The results were very promising, even without much tuning of fluid settings and render times were within an acceptable range when using a textured fluid container, even for longer shots.
